VR BOOTHS
The number of booths will depend on the number of participants. We have 10 VR booths in total, meaning that 10 people can play at the same time in the same game (1 person inside the booth at a time).
We have around 45 different games and experiences, within your time you can switch between as many games as you want. There are a lot of multiplayer options as well, allowing all 10 people to in the same game, to see each other, talk to each other and play together.
PARTY ROOM
If you would like to bring your own food & drinks
If you would like to bring your food, we have a party room option available. It is a large room with tables, chairs, and a partially equipped kitchen. You can book it at the additional cost of $50/hr or $35/2hrs+. Please note no confetti or Party Poppers allowed.
If there are more than 9 participants
Let’s say you have a party of 18 people, and book 9 booths for 1 hour. In this case, it will be a timeshare, meaning 9 people will be playing at once for 30 min, the rest are watching, and then we make a switch. If you would like to extend the playtime, you can always book for 2 hours or more, depending on the number of participants.
If there are less than 9 participants
Let’s say you have a party of 8 people, there are two options available: to book 8 booths, so each person will have an hour of VR gaming, or to book 4 booths, in this case, it is a timeshare 30 min each group of four, 4 people playing at once, and another 4 are watching, and after 30 min we make a switch.
If you would like all of the participants to play together at the same time, 8 booths option is the way to go.
Please note that all reservations need to be done online and to be fully prepaid through our reservation system.

Depending on the type of VR service, the minimum ages are as follows:
VR BOOTH: 7 years old
VR CAR RACING: Minimum Height – 149cm / 5’4″, which is average for 10-11 yrs.old kid.
ARENA SCALE VR: 10 years old
Please note the age limit for each service is carefully selected based on the health safety regulations and technical aspects of the equipment.
VR Booth
For the minors under 7 years old, the weight of the VR headset gives significant pressure on the neck, which might lead to the development of health problems, also, in most of the cases, the controllers are too big for the small kids to operate and reach all of the buttons.
VR Car Racing
149cm / 5’4″ is the minimum height required to reach the pedals to operate the car. A kid younger than 11 years old who meets the height requirements is allowed to use the service.
Arena Scale VR
VR Arena has six different games, each game has its own minimum age. Please refer to the VR arena games page for more information.
VR content suitable for kids
Our game library consists of more than 45 different games and experiences. There are a lot of options suitable for each age group of our clients.
In order to prevent our younger clients from accidentally picking unsuitable content for them (horror, violent, bloodshed games), we block some of the games for each booking based on the age group of the client.
The age limits vary as following: 7+, 12+ and 18+ years old, and help us to handpick experiences appropriate for each client.
If a client asks for a particular game that is hidden under the age limit, our team is always consulting with parents/guardians prior to provide access to the game.
SAFETY REGULATIONS
Can I wear my prescription glasses?
VR headsets allow a user to play with the reading glasses on. However, some of the glasses won’t fit in a headset or you might find it a bit uncomfortable. Thus, we suggest to try it with and without and see which option works best for you BUT for the best experience we recommend to wear contact lenses.
Who can and can not play: Physical Disabilities
At Gobo VR Hub we can accommodate most mobility, skill and cognitive levels for a range of guests, our hub and each VR booth is wheelchair accessible. However, please notice that for the optimal VR experience a user requires to move head and neck, and use at least one arm to interact with environments.
We also suggest consulting a doctor before making a reservation, if you have:
– pre-existing serious medical conditions (ex. high blood pressure, heart ailment)
– conditions that may affect your ability to safely perform physical activities
– psychiatric conditions ( ex. post-traumatic stress disorder or anxiety disorders)
or if you are pregnant or elderly.
You should also avoid using VR if you are fatigued, sick or under the influence of intoxicants/drugs, as it may exacerbate your condition.
Can Virtual Reality cause motion sickness?
In 99% it is not the case, but if you start feeling uneasy during your session, please take off the VR goggles and inform our staff member promptly.
Will I walk into a wall?
It is highly doubtful, as you will have a perfect sense of where you are located in a real space during your experience.
While using the VR, you will have a projected blue hologram of the obstacles (such as walls people, chairs) inside the game. Should you exit the playing zone, the hologram will turn red, which will be an indicator for you to step back.
TECH QUESTIONS
Virtual Reality (VR) is the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment. Unlike traditional user interfaces, VR allows placing the user inside an experience. Instead of viewing a screen in front of them, users are immersed and able to interact with 3D worlds with the use of special goggles strapped to the face and hand controllers. Virtual Reality is easy to use, our team will help you set up and get familiar with the VR environment, and our large selection of virtual experiences and games. To get started, you can check out our Activity Guideline section and have a look at the games menu. Each type of VR experience is equipped with a different type of HTC Vive virtual reality equipment. Even though there are a few major players on the market rights now, HTC Vive is considered a leader in full immersion VR experiences, and it is the main reason why we made this choice.
